Newton, MA-- Lasell received two weekly honors from the Great Northeast Athletic Conference this week. Freshman midfielder Ashley Slattery (Weymouth, MA) was selected as the Rookie of the Week for the second consecutive time, while fellow freshman Lindsey Cahoon (Falmouth, MA) was honored as Goalkeeper of the Week for the first time by the GNAC.

Slattery impressed once again this week, averaging four points per game in a 3-0 week for the Lasers.  Slattery scored four points in each of the GNAC contests, while also averaging 3.66 ground balls, 4.66 draw controls, and adding two caused turnovers for a strong all around week.

Rookie goalkeeper Cahoon played in net in all three of Lasell's contests this week as the Lasers went undefeated in the GNAC.  Cahoon picked up two wins, against Pine Manor and Rivier, made 17 total saves, and also picked up five ground balls.
