Newton, Mass.- Lasell's sophomore goalkeeper Kristin Coderre and freshman midfielder Lexi Giatrelis were selected as Goalkeeper and Rookie of the Week respectively in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference.
This is Coderre's third time this season being honored by the GNAC as goalie of the week. She has also been selected at the ECAC Goalkeeper of the Week once this season. Coderre made ten saves in goal against Pine Manor College, leading Lasell to their third conference win. This season, Coderre is second in the GNAC in both goalkeeping stats, with a save percentage of .506 and a goals against average of 10.54.
This is Giatrelis' first weekly honor by the GNAC for women's lacrosse. The rookie scored twice against Pine Manor, helping the Lasers to a 13-6 win. Her first goal marked the game winner, a statistic that Giatrelis is ranked 2nd in the GNAC for leading in. Giatrelis has scored 14 goals and added 5 assists this season.
