CHICOPEE, MA- Lasell's junior attack Andrea Ward (Hingham, Mass.) led Lasell with six points as the Lasers raced to an 18-4 win over Elms College on Wednesday night at Leary Field.  The Lasers have won their last three games, including the past two on the road to push their overall record to 6-4.  The Blazers remain winless with an 0-6 record.

The visitors went ahead 5-0 in less than five minutes with Ward starting things off just 26 seconds into the contest putting the Lasers on the board. Meredith Hessler (Middletown, RI) and Caitlyn Murphy (Katonah, NY) scored two goals apiece to follow Ward in that time frame.

It was nearly three minutes later that the Blazers Jennifer Lough (Feeding Hills, Mass.) attacked the Lasers net for the first time, but Ward returned the favor just twenty seconds later to hold the five goal edge.

By the halftime break, the Lasers led 15-3 over the hosting Blazers with eight more Lasell athletes notching goals.  Kristen Noble (West Milford, NJ) tallied her first goal of the season with 9:52 remaining in the half.  Murphy's third goal of the contest marked her team-leading 45th notch of the season.

Lasell outshot Elms be a huge 30-4 margin, also taking the advantage in draw controls (16-11), and ground balls (16-7). Kristin Coderre (Monson, Mass.) took home the win in net for Lasell.
