
Westfield, MA- In a hard-fought matchup, The Lasers dropped to the Owls of Westfield State with a 79-61 final score.
Lasell was led by Kiara Cerruti, who scored a team-high 18 points, shooting 8-18 from the field and adding 6 rebounds. Shirle Major also had a strong performance, contributing 10 points, including two three-pointers, and grabbing 7 rebounds. Despite these efforts, Lasell struggled with their shooting efficiency, finishing the game at 35.8% from the field and 28.0% from beyond the arc.
Westfield State was led by Maddie Pond, who exploded for 19 points, including an impressive 5-8 shooting from three-point range.
