New London, CT - The Lasell Lasers fell to the Mitchell Mariners by a score of 81-42 Tuesday night. The Lasers fell to 1-5 on the season, while the Mariners are now 3-2 on the season.

The first quarter went back and forth, as the two teams felt each other out. The Mariners would hit a shot at the buzzer to take a 13-9 lead into the second.

The second quarter was where the Mariners started to pull away, as they started the period on a 13-0 run. They would hold a 39-16 lead at halftime. The third quarter was similar to the second, as Mitchell used a 12-0 run to extend their lead.

The Lasers had their most success in the fourth quarter, as they outscored Mitchell 19-17.

The Lasers were led by Juju Nealy, who scored 11 points. Jasmine DePina was behind her with eight. DePenia also had five steals. Nine Lasers scored in the game.
