NEWTON, Mass. - The Lasell University men's and women's basketball programs are excited to host a summer day camp on July 25-29 in the Lasell Athletic Center.
The event welcomes third through eighth grade boys and girls and will take place from 9 a.m. - 3:20 p.m. Drop-off for the camp occurs between 8:30 and 9 a.m. and pickup will happen between 3:30 and 4 p.m.
The cost is $350 per camper and the money will go to improving the quality of the student-athlete experience for the basketball programs. Every camper will receive a T-shirt and lunch will be provided.
The camp is being run by Lasell University Women's Basketball Head Coach Kelley Sundberg and Men's Basketball Head Coach Aaron Galletta. The event will focus on developing offensive and defensive skill sets, with current Lasell men's and women's basketball student-athletes serving as mentors.

The men's basketball program is coming off a strong 2021-22 season, as it earned the third seed in the GNAC Tournament, won a playoff game and advanced to the conference semifinals. The women's basketball team recorded seven conference wins, the most for the program since the 2006-07 season.
