Kirck tallied an RBI single, and then two at-bats later, senior Brianna Gendreau connected on a two-run single, trimming the deficit to 6-5.

The Devils were able to close out the win, as Mackensie Wolterstorff earned the win with five innings of relief pitching. She allowed six hits, three runs, all of which were earned, and three walks, while striking out nine. The Seahawks received a hit from eight different student-athletes, as a six-run performance in the second inning gave the unit a 7-0 cushion. The surge included a bases-clearing, three-run triple by Katie Ramos and a two-run single by Christina Braid.

Turgeon drew a one-out walk in the third, and then scored during the ensuing at-bat on an RBI double to right-center by Sheeley. Salve Regina closed out the game with a run in the fourth and fifth innings.
