MXC: Men’s Cross Country Competes at GNAC Championship

The men's cross country team competed in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championships at St. Joseph's College, ME on Saturday.  The men finished in 8th place with the top finisher being Patrick Carbone with a time of 32:23.9 putting him in 24th place overall.  Other finishers for the men included Michael Curran at 35:59.2 , Zach Kirsch at 36:54.3, Evan Lewis at 48:53.3 and Spencer Villinski at 49:23.1.

After the meet, senior captain Zach Krisch had this to say, "Personally, for me, the meet felt pretty strong, I might not have gotten the time that I was hoping for but what matters is that I left it all out on the course. Teamwise today it seemed like a great day where both the men and the women ran amazingly. Throughout the season, we had some ups and downs, but i feel like all the time we put in for the past few months paid off today. I couldn't ask for a better team to close out this chapter of my life."

The team will wrap up the season at the New England Regionals on 11/12 at Bowdoin College.
