The men's cross country team ran in the Keene State Invitational on Saturday and four of the five men set a PR and first year runner, Evan Lewis completed his first collegiate race.  The men's top finisher, in the 8k race, was Pat Carbone who ran a time of 31:12.51 and placed 87th out of 135 runners.  Other finishers for the Lasers included Michael Curran with a time of 33:37.20, Zach Kirsch with a time of 35:29.10, Spencer Villinski with a time of 47:10.72 and Evan Lewis with a time of 46:35.72.

Head Coach Ben Biello said, "The Lasers ran hard today on a fast course and almost everyone set an awesome PR. I was very happy to see the performances they walked away with – they put in the hard work all week. I could not be prouder of this team!"

"Today was a team effort. If it wasn't for my teammates being supportive, I wouldn't have been able to do anything. I owe it all to them," said junior Pat Carbone.

Next up, the team will travel to Westfield State on October 8th to compete in the James Early Invite.
