BIDDEFORD, Maine (9/14/13) – The Lasell College men's cross country team finished seventh out of 13 teams at the University of New England Invitational on Saturday afternoon. Alex Weselcouch finished in eighth place to help lead the way for Lasell, and Cameron Wiewel placed 17^th giving the Lasers a pair of top 20 finishers for the first time in 2013.

Weselcouch finished the 8K course in 27:25.0 and crossed the line first for the Lasers, while Wiewel was the second Lasell runner into the chute with a time of  28:39. Kyle Northrop was the third finisher for Lasell, placing 44^th with a time of 29:51, followed by Andrew Panther in a time of 32:55 and Tyler Schwabe in a time of 38:06.

Up next, Lasell will head to the University of Southern Maine on Saturday September 21^st.
