Springfield, MA- The Lasers hit the road and headed to Springfield College for their Springfield Season Opener this weekend.
The Lasers had a spectacular showing, with multiple athletes breaking into the Lasell Top 10 list.
Darvin Guitea placed 15th overall in Men's Shot Put with a mark of 10.68m, Alex McFarlane followed with a mark of 9.95m. On the women's side of things Susy Daniels placed 9th with a mark of 9.86, followed by Jenna Sargeant 9.04 and Lillian Sullivan with 8.39.
Nathaniel Gonzalez placed 4th in the Men High Jump with a mark of 1.75. Zayshawn Griffin posted a 10th place win in the Long Jump, wiht a mark of 5.88m, as well as a 5th place finish in the Triple Jump, with a mark of 11.98m.
Giselle Olivar came in 5th for the lasers in the 60m Hurdles, with a finish of 11.04. Colleen Bartel finished 6th with 11.39, followed by Caitlyn Boston with 12.29.
Up Next: The Lasers will head to Suffolk University on Jan. 11th to compete in the Suffolk University Ice Breaker.
