MTrack: Lasers Excel at Tymann Invitational

Wenham, MA - The Lasell Men's Track and Field team participated in the Jonathan Tymann Invitational at Gordon College on Saturday. As a team they set eight PRs.

Of the Lasers eight PRs, five came in throwing events, led by Jeffrey Serrano Sanchez, as he set two new PRs with marks of 24.32m (Hammer Throw) and 20.79m (Discus) The reigning GNAC Athlete of the Week, Connor Parker, also set a new PR in the Discus with a mark of 28.24m. Ben Abely and Max Corson each set PRs in the Javelin, with Abely throwing for 31.26m and Corson for 26.79m. They were each also part of the 4x100m relay team that set a PR of 45.40s. They were joined on that team by Kadeem Ambroise and Jordan Woodley. They each posted PRs of their own, with Woodley in the 110m Hurdles (19.90s) and Ambroise in the 400m Hurdles (1:02.09). That time for Ambroise placed him in third, while Woodley placed sixth in the 400m Hurdles with a time of 1:10.60. The final PR was by Michael Curran, as he ran a 4:56.91 in the 1500m.

Up Next - The Lasers will compete again next Saturday, April 15th, when they travel to Saint Joseph's (ME) for the Monk Invitational.
