MSOC: Lasers Fall to the Bison 2-0

Dudley, MA- The Lasers dropped to non-conference opponent Nichols College in a nail biter of a matchup.

The first half saw a balanced exchange of possession, with neither team able to break the deadlock. Lasell's defense held strong against Nichols' aggressive attack, and goalkeeper Cameron McDonough made several key saves to keep the score level at halftime. As the second half unfolded, the Bison emerged with renewed energy, quickly scoring the opening goal.

The Lasers worked to regroup and push for an equalizer, creating several scoring opportunities. However, Nichols doubled their lead later in the half with Carl Headges-Small's goal, set up by Ryan Bray and Nathan Salamon. Despite the setback, Lasell continued to battle, with efforts to break through the Bison defense.

Cameron McDonough put forth a solid effort in goal, making six saves despite the team's 2-0 loss to Nichols College. His performance was crucial in keeping Lasell competitive throughout the match.
