MSOC: Lasers suffer defeat at the hands of Emmanuel

Newton, Mass. - The Lasell Men's Soccer team took on conference opponent Emmanuel and were unable to gain any control of the contest as Emmanuel slid their way past the Lasers 4-0.

Throughout the contest, it was all Emmanuel. From the very beginning of the game, the Saints of Emmanuel would make their mark offensively as Joey Soucy (Attleboro, Mass.) would get on the board within the 2-3 minute mark of the first half with Pedro-Andres Vasquez (Frisco, Tx.) assisting him. Then, five minutes later, Adom Oshagan (Glendale, Calif.) would get a goal of his own with the help of Soucy. Once the second half started, the Saints would not let up on the offensive end. They would score two more goals with one being from Cole Berry (Carver, Mass.) via Luke Hines (Bristol, Conn.) and Liam Cook (Oakdale, Conn.) from Ryan Ragosta (Lincoln, R.I.) to eventually win the game 4-0.

Emmanuel dominated the Lasers in shot attempts with 21 compared to Lasell's 5 with 11 of the Saints' shots being on goal.

Cameron McDonough (Melrose, Mass.) had 7 sevens in today's game for the Lasers. Vincent Conelli (West Hartford, Conn.) recorded his second consecutive shutout for the Saints.

Lasell is back in action Wednesday when they travel to Providence, Rhode Island to take on Johnson and Wales University as Emmanuel will also be traveling on Wednesday as they head up to Nashua, N.H. to take on Rivier University.
