Northfield, VT- The Lasell Men's Soccer team suffered defeat at the hands of the Cadets of Norwich University.

Norwich would get some of their offensive firepower from sophomore forward Mamadi Jiana (Chicopee, Mass.), who converted a hat trick with 3 unassisted goals in the first half to put the Cadets up 3-0. 

Jiana would score one more for the Cadets in the second half as he netted his fourth goal of the day five minutes into the second half. Norwich would then continue with 2 other goals from Cullen Swett (Williston, Vt.) and Jami Lashua (Williston, Vt.) to give the Cadets a 6-0 edge.

Norwich had 18 shots throughout the game as the Lasers only attempted 7 shots with 5 of them being on goal. Gabrielus Bazikas (Southborough, Mass.) converted 7 saves for Lasell while Robert Wagenseller (Poway, Calif.) converted 5 saves for the Cadets.

Lasell is back in action on Wednesday night as they face cross-town rival Regis college in Weston, Mass. Norwich will also play Wednesday in the afternoon as they take on Dean College in Franklin, Mass.
