MSOC: Lasers fall short to Rams in non-conference contest

Newton, Mass. - The Lasell Men's Soccer team fell short to former GNAC member Suffolk University in a 1-0 finish after the Rams scored a goal late in the second-half to snag the win.

The Rams of Suffolk scored late in the 74th minute mark of the second half as Brady Sorensen (Plymouth, Mass.) scored with an assist from Aiden McLaughlin (Medford, Mass.) to give the Rams the win. 

Suffolk lead the game with 18 shot attempts, in which 10 of them came in the first half. The Rams also had 7 corner kick opportunities in the game. Lasell had 10 shot attempts, which nine of them came from sophomore forward Daniel Faynstein (Needham, Mass.), which four of them were shot on goal attempts. The Lasers also had 3 corner kick opportunites in the contest as well. 

Xander Balog (Tallahassee, FL.) and Gabrielus Bazikas (Southborough, Mass.) both had four saves recorded for their teams, respectively.

The Lasell Lasers are back in action on Saturday when they take on GNAC foe Norwich in Northfield, Vermont while the Suffolk Rams host CCC opponent Endicott College at East Boston Memorial Park.
