NEWTON, Mass. - Sophomore forward Daniel Faynstein (Needham, Mass.) earned his second straight GNAC Men's Soccer Player of the week award in the week of Sept. 12- Sept. 18. In a 2 game week in which the Lasell Men's Soccer program tied both of the contests, the sophomore forward scored a hat trick, with two of them being penalty kick goals, in the GNAC contest against Dean to force the tie for the Lasers to go along with 6 points. Faynstein now has 8 goals and has accumulated 17 points on the season so far, in which he still leads the GNAC in both goals scored and total points. Nationally, Daniel is tied for fifth in goals scored and is eighth in total points scored in the NCAA Division III statistical leaderboard.
