MSOC: Lasers top Falcons

Medford, MA- Sophomore Daniel  Faynstein (Needham, MA.) scored two goals  in Tuesday night's 3-1 victory over Fischer College in a non-conference game at Hormel Stadium

The Lasers got on the board in the 14th minute when Faynstein scored off of  a free kick just outside the 18-yard mark. 

When the halftime whistle blew, it was 1-0 in favor of the Lasers. 

The Fischer College Falcons would respond in the 57th minute when sophomore Drake Hampton (Queen Creek, AZ), took a couple of dribbles and shot the ball into the net to level the score. 

Faynstein added a second goal in the 78th minute when he found the back of the net to make it 2-1. 

The Lasers would add one more goal in the 85th minute when junior Jaydon Perez (Amherst, MA) dribbled between two defenders and shot the ball passed the goalie.  

When the final whistle blew, the Lasers won 3-1. This win is the first for first year head coach Jared Lewis. 

Lasell's  next game is on Saturday, when they host Anna Maria on Taylor Field at 1 p.m. Fisher will play at Me.-Fort Kent at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
