NEWTON, MA-  Aren Moorman (Somerset, NJ) was selected as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Goalkeeper of the Week after a 2-0 week for the Lasers.

The freshman goalie made nine saves this week, allowing just two goals, for a .818 save percentage and a 1.00 GAA in the duo of contests.  Moorman made three saves against non-conference Curry College in tough regional competition and then six saves against Emerson on Saturday to secure the first league win of the year.

The Lasers are 3-0-1 this season so far, with their unbeaten record due in large part to Moorman's efforts between the pipes.  The rookie has made 15 saves in 390 minutes of his collegiate career so far.
