Three Lasers were recognized this week for their work on the soccer field and received a spot on the honor roll from the GNAC.
Dan Hatch, a 5'10" sophomore from Avon, MA,
produced a hat trick in the first half of the game against GNAC
opponent Rivier College this week, marking his first collegiate
points. He finished the game with another goal late in the
second half. Earlier in the week, Hatch was a threat on
offense once again for the Lasers, with five shot attempts in the
matchup with Clark University.
Julian Dutton, a 6'0" senior goalkeeper from Madison, CT, continues his fine play in net for the Lasers. In a 1-1 week for the Lasers, Dutton (right) collected 6 saves and recorded the shutout win for Lasell against River College.
A 5'3" junior from Southbury, CT, Alyssa Ferreri scored the game winning goal against Simmons College with a diving header late in the second half to give the Lasers their first GNAC win in 2008. Ferreri (left) also had an assist in the New England College game, to collect a total of 3 points this week.
