Newton, MA- Esmer Madesko continues to make his mark on GNAC Men's Basketball with his fourth Rookie of the Week selection this season. 

Madesko led the charge for the Lasers in a 2-0 week, averaging 25 points a game on 66.7% shooting from the floor, collecting six boards a game, four assists, and 2.5 steals. The Atlanta, Georgia native started the week with 24 points on 7-for-10 from the floor, 10 of them coming from the charity stripe, along with nine rebounds, two steals, and two blocks in a home victory over Dean. Madesko followed up with 26 points on 9-for-14 from the floor, collecting six assists and three steals in a road win over Anna Maria to keep the Lasers undefeated in conference play. He leads the GNAC in field goal percentage (58.7%) and is second in both steals (43) and assists (84), which currently places him in the top-25 nationally in both categories.
