
Henniker, NH - The Lasers took to the road for their second game of the week on Saturday at NEC.
The Lasers who came in with a 4-0 conference record looked to continue their streak and also bring their winning streak to a fifth game. Andy Madesko opened the game with a 3-pointer to help fuel an early Laser 10-2 run. After the basket by Madesko, it was Marcus Lewis who took control of the scoring load for Lasers who exploded for 58 first-half points. Lewis caught fire and had 25 of his 33 points in the first 20 minutes. The Lasers as a whole shot very well shooting 55% from the field on the day which helped them open a 27-point lead going into the break. In the second half, it was more of the same for the Lasers, as they were able to continue holding their lead and easily coasted to a 95-67 win.
12 different Lasers scored in the win on Saturday with the strong shooting of Marcus Lewis and a season-high 33 being the standout performance. Che Hanks also had an efficient scoring outing going 8-10 from the floor and draining 5 threes to tack on 21 of his own. Helping find the scorers all game was Andy Madesko who posted 14 assists and the Lasers 35 team assists broke the school record for most in a game. The Lasers' ability to swing the ball and find the open man throughout the game produced great scoring opportunities in the blowout win.
