Newton, MA- For the second week in a row, freshman Esmer Madesko was selected as the GNAC Rookie of the Week. 

Madesko played a huge role for the Lasers this past week, averaging 21.3 points a game on 64/50/80 shooting splits, collecting five boards/assists apiece and three steals. He started the week with 20 points, seven assists, and three steals in 24 minutes of action in a win over Wentworth, following up with 22 points, six boards, five assists, and three steals in a loss to Plymouth State, and finalized the week with 22 points, seven boards, and three steals in a win over Fitchburg State.
