Newton, MA - The GNAC announced their end of the year basketball awards on Tuesday, and the Lasell Men's Basketball team saw a number of players recognized.

Che Hanks was named the GNAC's Rookie of the Year, and was named to the All-Rookie team. Hanks finished second on the team with 11.5 points per game, and led the team with 3.8 assists per game, good for fourth in the conference. He was joined on the All-Rookie team by Andy Madesko, who was third on the team with 10.7 points per game. Madesko also average two steals per game, good for seventh in the GNAC. His seven rebounds per game ranked 10th.

Also honored was Marcus Lewis, who was named to the conference's second team. He ranked fourth in the conference with 18.2 points per game.

The final member of the team honored was Demerrick Warren, who was named to the All-Sportsmanship team for the second consecutive season.
