Northfield, VT - The Lasell Men's Basketball team fell to the Norwich Cadets on Saturday by a final score of 81-67. With the loss, the Lasers are now 15-8 on the season, and 9-3 in GNAC play. The Cadets move to 16-7 and 8-4.

The Lasers came out hot, beginning the game on an 8-0 run. But the Cadets responded immediately with a 13-0 run of their own. The two teams would go back and forth throughout the rest of the half, with Norwich eventually taking a 37-31 lead at the break. It remained close through the first 10 minutes of the second half, but an 8-2 run by Norwich put them up double-digits. But a9-2 run by the Lasers got them back within four with eight minutes to play. But an immediate response from the Cadets in the form of a 9-0 run gave them control. They would eventually take the game 81-67.

The Lasers were led by Che Hanks' 13 points. Right behind him were Marcus Lewis (11), Andy Madesko (10), and Karim Belhouchet (10). Madesko also filled the box score, grabbing four rebounds, dishing out four assists, and snatching five steals. Gabe Qua led the team with five rebounds.

Up Next - The Lasers will play again on Tuesday when they travel to the top team in the conference Saint Joseph (CT) for a 7pm game.
