Framingham, MA- Lasers climb to 3-0 on the season after last night's road win over non-conference opponent Framingham State.

Lasell took the lead early into the first quarter with a goal from freshman Alice Rourke, assisted by graduate student Johanna Snyder.

A few minutes later, Rourke fired the ball into the back of the net again during a penalty corner, putting the visiting team up by two to end the quarter.

The Lasers continued to dominate the game in the second half, though the Rams landed themselves on the scoreboard.

After a quick goal in the third from freshman Mara Boldy assisted by graduate student Alessia Callahan, the Rams quickly fired back with a goal from Ashley Malmquist.

Framingham's Kaylee Beck would knock one more goal in during the final quarter to make it a one goal game, but Lasell continued to control possession, landing one more in the net off of a Megan Crabtree goal.

The Lasers outshot the Rams 16-8 and had 12 penalty corners compared to their three. The 4-2 win for the Lasers sets them up with a 3-0 record to kick off the season.
