Newton, Mass. - The National Field Hockey Coaches Association announced their all-region award winners last week and Junior Lily Stark was named to the Region I second-team.
The Junior Forward from Saco, Maine finished the year holding two single-season program records for the Lasers as she scored 23 goals on the year along with registering 54 total points in all 19 contests played. In addition, she assisted on 8 goals for Lasell this year and connected on 6 game-winning goals, which was also a single-season record she holds in program history. Stark's incredible season helped lead the Lasers to an 11-8 record in which they went as far as the GNAC Semi-finals before falling to Simmons. Stark is currently 4th all-time in the program's history in goals scored with 30 in her career as well as points with 71 total.
