Lasell College sophomore Greg Sherman earned Great Northeast Athletic Conference Pithcer of the Week honors after he threw the first no-hitter in the history of the Lasell baseball program. 

Sherman threw the first no-hitter in the history of the Lasell College baseball program in a 5-0 defeat of Anna Maria College. The sophomore hurler allowed one walk and struck out five, facing one more batter than the minimum in seven innings. In his most efficient outing of the season Sherman only needed 83 pitches, 50 of which were strikes to complete his no-hit bid.
