Fort Myers, Fla. (3/18/13) - The Lasell College baseball team fell 7-0 against Otterbein University in the third game of their spring trip. Lasell dropped to 0-3 with the loss, while Otterbein improved to 7-1 on the season. 

Billy Uberti had a pair of singles in three at-bats for Lasell, while Cory Michel and Jacob Salkovitz each went 1 for 3 on the afternoon. Brennan Jordan took the loss for Lasell, allowing seven runs on six hits with three walks and four strikeouts in four innings of work. Gary Trotteir struck out two in two innings, setting Otterbein down in order both innings. 

The Cardinals scored a pair of runs in the first inning on an RBI single and a sacrifice fly, and then added two more runs in the second inning on a Tyler Kent home run. A Sean Kettering solo home run in the third made it 5-0, and the home team strung together a trio of singles in the fourth to add two more runs.

The second game of the doubleheader was postponed because of inclement weather.
