Cavanagh, Sullivan, Mitchell Secure GNAC Honors

Seniors Conor Cavanagh (Quincy, Mass.) and Josh Sullivan (Rockland, Mass.) were each honored by the Great Northeast Acthletic Conference for their performances this season. They were both selected by the coaches as members of the All-GNAC 2nd team. Sophomore Cory Mitchell (Rockland, Mass.) was named to the GNAC Sportsmanship team.

Cavanagh was a second team All-GNAC selection in the outfield for the Lasers, batting .410 in 36 games this year. Cavanagh posted team-highs in batting average (.410), on base percentage (.500) slugging percentage (.590), RBI's 33 and doubles (12). He led the GNAC in on base percentage, was second in RBI's, finished third in batting average and fourth in slugging percentage.

Sullivan spent most of his senior campaign at second base, while also making five appearances on the mound. He was selected as a member of the All-GNAC second team as an infielder, while batting .338 on the season. He stole a team-leading seven bases, scored a team-high 30 runs, tied for the team lead in triples (3), while collecting the second most hits (46) and third most doubles (8) on the squad. On the mound, Sullivan finished with a team-best 3.52 earned run average, making three starts and collecting a save in one of his two relief appearances.
