
Newton, MA – Lasell College’s Jamie Harris ’14 (Lynnfield, MA), Molly Clarke ’12 (Berlin, CT), Elizabeth Stickley ’12 (Mashpee, MA), Jordyn Frollo ’12 (Uxbridge, MA), Meredith Hessler ’12 (Middletown, RI), Jessica Taylor ’12 (Standish, ME), and Mary Kate Dunphy ’13 (Wareham, MA) have all earned GNAC Conference All-Conference honors.
Harris, Clarke, and Stickley capture First Team honors, Frollo and Hessler capture Second Team honors, while Taylor and Dunphy round out conference selections to the Third Team.
Stickley earned the honor of GNAC Defensive Player Of The Year as the last line of defense for the Lasers. Stickley posted a 0.63 Goals against average, stopping 92 shots on the year for a .893 save percentage. She helped lead the Lasers to their second consecutive crown as GNAC Champions.
Harris, the lone sophomore on the First-Team, ended the regular season with 13 goals (9 of which were against conference opponents), 6 assists and 32 pts total. This is the second year Harris has led the Lasers in statistical categories. She was followed by teammate Jessica Taylor who scored 11 goals on the season including a game winning goal in the GNAC Championship; helping propel her team to the NCAA tournament for the second consecutive year.
Frollo and Hessler solidified the Lasell midfield controlling play for the duration of the season. While Junior defender, Dunphy, controlled play in the last third of the field for the Lasers.
The women are headed to the NCAA Tournament this weekend for the second year in a row. They will face Middlebury on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
