NEWTON, Mass. - The Lasell University Athletics department will induct its newest members into Chi Alpha Sigma at halftime of the 4 p.m. men's lacrosse game against Saint Joseph's College of Maine Wednesday, April 13, on Grellier Field.
Chi Alpha Sigma is a nonprofit organization established to recognize college student-athletes who excel both on and off the field of competition. The honor society is the first and only academic fraternity that specifically recognizes four-year collegiate student-athletes for their athletic and academic successes.
Here is a list of the 23 Laser student-athletes who will be inducted in 2022:
Men's Basketball: Matt Rothberg
Men's Cross Country and Track & Field: Zachary Kirsch and Franklin Torres
Women's Cross Country, Track & Field and Lacrosse: Sophie Fistori
Field Hockey: Sage Dodier, Kaylie Gonya and McKensie Lennon
Men's Lacrosse: Ethan Dallas
Women's Soccer: Caroline St. Croix
Men's Soccer: Zack Laware, Alex Melo and Matt Nogueira
Women's Soccer: Maddie Burke, Maria Henriquez, Alexys Soujanen and Kyli Swann
Softball: Matara Tamzarian
Men's Track & Field: Ben Abely and Richard Barlett
Men's Volleyball: Jesus Garcia and Riley Grenier
Women's Volleyball: Jess Langan and Meg Roberts
