Coach Martin takes over the reins from eight year head coach Larry Sullivan, who stepped down from the position in March.

Middlebury, MIT Tie for Regional Cross Country TitleNovember 15, 2009Cumberland, ME -- Lasell College had six womens cross country athletes finish the difficult 6,000 meter NCAA New England Regional Womens Cross Country Championship course held at Twin Brook Recreation Center in Cumberland, Maine on Saturday. Middlebury College and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology tied for the team title under rainy skies, finishing with 63 team points each.

Harrington Leads Womens Cross Country to 5th Place Finish at GNAC ChampionshipsOctober 31, 2009Nashua, NHThe Lasell College womens cross country team finished in fifth place at the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championship hosted by Rivier College on Saturday, October 31st. Emerson College won the race with an average time of 21:54.25, earning 48 points in the 5K. Emersons Caprice Cappucci (Medfield, Mass.) was the first place finisher of the 88 total athletes.

Lasers Compete at 2009 Saints InvitationalOctober 17, 2009Boston, Mass.The Lasell womens cross country team competed in the 2009 Emmanuel College Saints Invitational on Friday, October 16th, earning an 11th place ranking out of 19 total teams. A total of 146 athletes ran in the 5K meet, with the top time of 18:50.34 going to Katherine Eve of Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

GNAC Weekly Honors ReleasedOctober 14, 2009Newton, Mass.- Four Lasell athletes were honored by the GNAC with weekly awards. Elizabeth Stickley (Mashpee, Mass.) and Matthew Scully (Watertown, Conn.) were selected for the second week in a row as Goalkeeper and Rookie of the Week respectively, while Meghan Crozier (Ballston Spa, NY) and Christina Annicelli (North Easton, Mass.) were chosen as women's volleyball Player of the Week and cross country Rookie of the Week respectively.

Lasers Earn 3rd Place Finish at Monks InvitationalOctober 12, 2009Standish, METhe Lasell College womens cross country team placed third overall as a team at the Runnin Monks Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, October 10th. The Lasers third place finish positioned them just behind University on Maine, Farmington in first, and GNAC opponents Johnson & Wales in second.

Womens Cross Country Puts Together Fine Performance at GordonOctober 03, 2009WENHAM, MA. The Lasell College womens cross country team placed 14th out of 31 teams at the annual Pop Crowell Invitational during a windswept, rainstorm on the Gordon College campus this Saturday afternoon. Sophomore Meghan Missett (Lowell, Mass.) ran a personal best over the 3.2 mile course and was the first Laser to complete the race.

Lasell's Missett Completes Raiders Invitational with 3rd Place FinishSeptember 25, 2009Nashua, NHA third place finish by sophomore Meghan Missett (Lowell, Mass.) paced the Lasers at the 2009 Raiders Cross Country Invitational held by Rivier College on Friday. Ariella Harrington (Woburn, Mass.) also finished in the top ten, finishing in 8th place overall at the race.

Missett Places in Top 25 at Roger WilliamsSeptember 14, 2009Bristol, RI-- Meghan Missett ( Lowell, Mass.) led the way for the Lasers in a meet a Colt State Park this weekend, hosted by Roger Williams University. Missett finished the race in 25th place, completing at 22:26.31.

Lasers Miss 1st Victory by Narrowest of MarginsSeptember 07, 2009Cambridge, Mass.- The Lasers womens cross country team opened up the 2009 season with at the Presidents Cup 2009 Dual Meet between Lesley University and Lasell College. The Lynx were ranked first in the conference preseason poll by the NECC (The New England Collegiate Conference), receiving all eight first place votes, proving to be tough competition. However, the Lynx beat the Lasers by just a narrow one point margin of 27-28, on Saturday afternoon on the 2.5 mile course.
