    DORCHESTER, MA—On Saturday, in the 17th running of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Cross Country Championship, Meghan Missett (Lowell, MA) picked up her second straight GNAC All-Conference honor with a 6th place finish on the women’s course at Franklin Park. Johnson & Wales University captured the team championship for the second consecutive year with a total of 64 points.

  • Women’s Cross Country Renders 4th Place Finish at Running Monks Invitational

    STANDISH, ME- Senior Meghan Missett (Lowell, MA) and freshman Amy Santella (Cheshire, MA) took 6th and 8th place individual finishes respectively to lead the Lasell College women’s cross country team to a 4th place team finish at the Running Monks Invitational on Saturday. The meet was hosted by fellow Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) competitor St. Joseph’s College of Maine, who finished 3rd as a team (69 points), while GNAC favorites Johnson & Wales University earned a first place finish as a squad (50 points).

    CHICOPEE, MA- It was an outstanding day of competition for the Lasell College women’s cross country team at the Elms Blazer Invitational, finishing 5th out of a field of 15 as a squad. The Lasers missed out on 3rd place at the meet by a mere 15 points, ending the day with 127 points on the 5K course.

  • Missett Leads Lasell at Keene State Alumni Invitational

    Keene, NH-- On Saturday, September 3rd, the Lasell College women’s cross country team opened the 2011 season at the Keene State College Alumni Invitational. The two-mile run was held at the Owls Athletic Complex in hot and humid conditions. The hosting Owls were victorious in winning the invitational, which was a mixed division meet, followed by Division II University of Massachusetts-Lowell, and Clark University in third.
