• Lasell's Cross Country Season Concludes at NCAA New England Regional

    WILLIAMSTOWN, MA- On Saturday, November 13th, the Lasell College women’s cross country season came to a close at the NCAA New England Regional Championship hosted by Williams College. Fifty-one women’s teams came together to race over rolling hills, wooded trails, and grass fields on the 6k course at Mt. Greylock High School. Lasell’s Meghan Missett (Lowell, MA) notched a time of 26:55.4 at the meet to lead the Laser women at the Championship.

    STANDISH, ME- Junior captain Meghan Missett (Lowell, MA) finished in eighth place at the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Championship at St. Joseph's College of Maine on Saturday, earning All-Conference honors for the first time.

    Newton, MA— Emmanuel College hosted the Sixth Annual Saints Invitational on Friday, October 15th, at Franklin Park. Three hundred men’s and women’s cross country athletes represented 24 colleges and universities from across the region. Lesley University won the women’s 5k with four runners placing amongst the top ten.

    Standish, ME-- The University of Maine at Farmington claimed the Runnin' Monks Invitational women's team title for the fourth consecutive year in the annual meet hosted by St. Joseph's College of Maine on Saturday. The Lasell College women's cross country team finished in sixth place as a team, with junior Meghan Missett (Lowell, MA) finishing in sixth place individually on the 5K course.

    Wenham, MA-- The Lasell College women's cross country team faced some top New England competition on Saturday at the Pop Crowell Invitational hosted by Gordon College. The Lasers finished 17th in a pool of 26 teams which included Division III nationally ranked Wellesley College, ranked 15th in the latest USTFCCCA/NCAA Coaches Poll.

    Bristol, RI- The Lasell College women’s cross country team had a strong performance at the Roger Williams Invitational on Saturday at Colt State Park against some impressive regional competition. Wellesley College took first place honors at the invitational, while University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth earned second place. The top four runners to finish the 5K course all hailed from Wellesley.

  • Lesley Women Collect Perfect Score at 2010 President's Cup

    The Lesley University women's cross country team collected a perfect score (15) at the 2010 President's Cup, which kicked off the 2010 season for the Lynx, the Lasers of Lasell College, and the Nighthawks of Newbury College. Noa Kupfer led all the women with a Cold Spring Park course record time of 21:44.
