Newton, MA - The Lasers swept Eastern Nazarene College in a non-conference doubleheader, sending them up 8-6 on the season. 

Game 1 

Lasell opened up scoring nice and early off an RBI double from Katie Hopkins, sending Brianna Gendreau home. The Lasers kept the momentum going and tacked two more runs onto the board during the second inning. Eryn Sheely kicked things off with a single down the right side, followed by a single from Alyssa Bland. Gendreau finished the inning firing one out to center field to collect a double RBI. The Lasers would score once more in the bottom of the fifth to collect the 5-2 win. 

Sheely would collect the win on the mound, pitching all seven innings, and allowing just 2 runs. She collected nine strikeouts on the day. 

Game 2 

The Lasers had a quiet game offensively, scoring in just the second inning but held strong defensively to snag the win. The second inning opened up with a triple from Katie Hopkins, who scored after an error on the third basemen. Shyanne Raccio singled one out to center field, followed by a 2 RBI homerun from Sheely. 

Abigail Fortin snagged the win with seven innings pitched, three hits and two strikeouts. 

Up Next: The Lasers are off until April 4th when they head to Salem State for another non-conference doubleheader, first pitch at 4:00.
