Newton, MA - The GNAC announced their weekly awards on Monday, and Lasell's Eryn Sheeley was named the conference's Softball Pitcher of the Week after a historic week in the circle.

Sheeley picked up three victories in as many appearances for the Laser this week. Made a relief appearance against Rivier allowing no hits and just three walks over four innings of work. She struck out seven Raiders in the victory. Sheeley then tossed back-to-back complete games, starting with a seven-inning, three-hit shutout against Dean with 11 strikeouts. She then followed that up with a five-hitter against Saint Joseph's (Maine) with seven strikeouts. On the week she only allowed three unearned runs over 18 innings and struck out 25. On top of that, she broke the school record for most career strikeouts in her game against Saint Joseph's.
