Game 1- Lasell 0 St. Joseph 1

Game one saw a terrific pitchers duel between both starters with only one run coming across the plate. Senior Alessandra Milardo (Plantsville, Conn.) gave up one hit while striking out nine in seven full innings of work and got the win in the circle. Freshman Eryn Sheeley (North Haven, Conn.) equally battled Milardo on the mound only giving up four hits and one run while striking out ten over seven innings.

The Blue Jays scored the only run of the game in the top of the seventh inning when Freshman Kailee Snyder (Brookfield, Conn.) got the inning started with a pinch hit double. A sacrifice bunt moved her to third before a sacrifice bunt by junior Ashlee White (Bristol, Conn.) which scored Snyder.

Game 2 – Lasell 1 St. Joseph 3

The Blue Jays wasted no time in game two getting on the board when junior Kacy O'Connor (Milford, Conn.) hit a sacrifice fly.

White added a second run in the second inning for St. Joseph when she singled to left field bringing home a run.

Lasell got on back in the third inning when freshman Lexie Brunet (Dayville, Conn.) scored on an error following a sacrifice bunt by fellow freshman Ally Kirck (Hamden, Conn.).

Just like in the second inning White added another run to the board for the Blue Jays in the fourth with a single up the middle giving St. Joseph enough to hold on for the win.

Junior Natalie Amato (Cheshire, Conn.) got the win for the Blue Jays going four innings only giving up four hits, one run while striking out five and Milardo got the save. White went four for four with two RBIs and O'Connor went two for two. Senior Nicolette Genkos (Worcester, Mass.) went the distance only allowing three runs.
