Lasell began the day with an unearned run scored by Heather Rose (West Roxbury, Mass.) in the top of the fourth inning.  Rose struck again in the sixth slamming a triple and reaching on an RBI single by Ashley Laramie (Lynn, Mass.).

The Lasers finished the seventh inning with another run to win the game 3-0. Michelle Torres (Waltham, Mass.) got to base on a fielder's choice before stealing second.  Torres then shot to home as Rose singled to score the final run.

Simmons got on board in the bottom of the first with one unearned run, and scored again in the third, scoring a homerun, but the Lasers retained their lead.

In the fifth, Saluti furthered Lasell's advantage with a sacrifice fly to left field sending Torres home.  The sixth inning sealed the Lasers second victory of the day as Kerrie Starkey (Keene, NH) and McHugh each added a run.
