New London, CT - The Lasell Lasers Men's Soccer team picked up a critical GNAC win on Tuesday, defeating the Mitchell Mariners 2-1. With the win, the Lasers are now3-9-2 on the season and 3-7-2 in GNAC play, moving them up to 10th in the conference, which is also the final playoff spot.

After the Mariners got out to a quick lead with an 11th minute goal, Dillon Winkelmann evened things up with his second goal in as many games in the 24th minute. After a scoreless final 20 minutes of the first half, the Lasers would take the lead in the 54th minute when Jaydon Perez found the back of the net. No other goals would be scored, as the Lasers took home the 2-1 victory.

Goalie Cameron McDonough was the keepers for Lasell, making five saves as he picked up his first win of the season.
