MSOC: Lasers Drop Tough 1-0 Match to JWU

Newton, M.A. – The Lasell Lasers dropped a tough conference match to the Johnson and Wales Wildcats on Saturday morning, 1-0. The loss makes the Lasers 2-3-2 overall and 2-2-2 in GNAC play. The win for Johnson and Wales moves them to 4-2-1 overall and 3-1 in the GNAC.

The lone goal was scored early into the game as Johnson and Wales scored just nine minutes into the game. The game would finish their at 1-0.

Despite the lone goal, Lasell goalie Cameron McDonough saved 7 shots on the day. Daniel Faynestein attempted half of the Lasers eight shots in the game.

Up Next – The Lasers are back at home on Wednesday, September 27th at 4:00 pm in another GNAC match against the St. Joseph (CT) Blue Jays.
