MSOC: Late Goal Downs Lasers

New London, NH - The Lasell Lasers fell to the Colby-Sawyer Chargers on Saturday 2-1. The Lasers are now 2-2 on the season and 2-1 in GNAC play. The Chargers are now 2-4 and 1-2.

Daniel Faynstein opened the scoring for the Lasers in the 14th minute, his first of the year. The goal was the 18th of his career, tying him for the 10th most in school history. He had 11 of Lasell's 19 shots in the game. The Lasers would hold a 1-0 lead at halftime, but the Chargers would score two goals in the second half, including a penalty kick in the 72nd minute to give the Chargers the lead. The Lasers would get two shots on goal over the final 18 minutes, but neither was able to find the back of the net.

Up Next - The Lasers will have a busy five day stretch this week, playing three games in five days, starting with an away match at Elms on Tuesday at 7pm.
