MSOC: Bluejays shut out Lasers in GNAC Play

West Hartford, Conn. - The Lasell Men's Soccer team traveled for a Great Northeast Athletic Conference matchup with the BlueJays of Saint Joseph's (Conn). 

Early on, the Bluejays led an attack that would be too much for the Lasers. They started out the gate strong in the first five minutes as Michael Torres would put USJ on the board. Then, Benjamin Marchetti would score the second goal of the game at the 12 minute mark. The Bluejays were not finished in the first half. In minute 22, Saint Joseph's would score yet another goal from DeAnte Anderson and another at the 35 minute mark by Joel Agbetossou to build a 4-0 lead at the half. The Bluejays would get another goal from Agbetossou in the second half to eventually shut down the Lasers as USJ won 5-0. 

Gabrielus Bazikas (Southborough, Mass.) registered 5 saves for Lasell as Jose Miguel Garcia Martin finished the game 5 saves as well for the Bluejays.

Lasell is back in action Monday night when they travel to Cambridge, Massachusetts to face Lesley University.
