NEWTON, Mass. (9/21/15) –  Lasell College men's soccer senior Miguel Colmenares (Caracas, Venezuela) had been selected as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Corvias goalkeeper of the week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Colmenares recorded two stops in a 3-0 loss to top Commonwealth Coast Conference contender Endicott College, before shutting out Suffolk University, 2-0, in a GNAC battle on Taylor Field. The Caracas, Venezuela native stopped all nine shots on net for the Lasers in the victory to rack up a total of 11 saves on the week.

Colemenares earned a .786 save percentage for the week, and now sits third among GNAC stat leaders with 32 saves thus far.
