NEWTON, Mass. (10/28/13) - Lasell College senior Mike Skelton was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for his performance in a pair of contests this week. Skelton scored three goals and assisted on another score as Lasell finished 2-0 for the week. The senior forward scored once in the Lasers 4-0 victory against Rivier then contributed in all three Lasell goals in a 3-0 win against St. Joseph's of Maine, scoring twice and assisting on the third goal.

The senior forward leads the GNAC in goals with 14 and is tied for the lead in points with 32 for the year. The Conway, N.H. native trails Zach Gagne for the career record in goals by two and is one goal short of tying his own single season record for goals with 15.

Skelton's outstanding performance in the Lasers victory over St. Joseph's of Maine helped Lasell capture the GNAC regular season championship and claim the top seed in the upcoming tournament.
