NEWTON, Mass. (10/7/13) - The Great Northeast Athletic Conference named Lasell College senior Mike Skelton (Conway, N.H.) the Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the opening week of October. Skelton helped Lasell to a 1-1 week, including a GNAC victory against Mount Ida College. The senior forward scored a pair of goals for the week on only five shots, converting a spot kick against the Mustangs to help Lasell remain undefeated in GNAC play.

For the season Skelton has netted seven goals and two assists, ranking himself third in the conference and first on his squad in both goals and points. The reigning Conference Player of the Year, Skelton has amassed 40 goals during his Lasell career, needing eight more to tie all-time leading goal scorer Zach Gagne with 48.
