NEWTON, Mass. (10/6/13) - Ed Walker will be visiting the Lasell College campus on Sunday evening to talk to students about a variety of topics. Originally from Boston, Mass., Walker attended Charlestown High School before going to Bates College where he was a four-year basketball player, ending his career at the programs 7th all-time leading scorer.
Walker has been involved in education since graduating with his degree in African American Studies with a concentration in English. He is the president and founder of Independent Consultants of Education and a highly regarded public speaker.
He will be speaking tonight at Lasell College's DeWitt Hall at 7:00 p.m.
