Louie Lucchetti, class of 2006, helped establish the men's lacrosse program in New England while compiling prolific numbers and helping the team to great success. The Lasers were 38-23 overall and 15-14 in the highly competitive Pilgrim League during Lucchetti's four years as the Newton, Mass. product earned 1st Team All-Conference honors every season while leading the team to the ECAC semifinals in his junior and senior campaigns. Lucchetti's name littered the record books when he finished his Lasell career, finishing as the career leader in points with 260 and assists with 158. His single season marks of 75 points in a season and 52 assists in a season still stand as single season records and his marks of 10 assists in a game and 11 points in a game remain single game records. His 2002 season saw him post 75 points, 40 goals and 35 assists, good for 5.4 points per game, the sixth best mark in the NCAA that year. His 2003 campaign saw him post a spectacular 3.5 assists per game, which was the highest mark in the country.
