STANDISH, Maine (11-01-2014) – The Lasell women's cross country team finished 9th in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference championship this past weekend, recording a total of 265 points.
Jaime Russo clinched 1st place for the Lasers and 47th overall, crossing the finish line at 23:57. Nora McCabe, Elizabeth Bennett, and Briana Wrumbleski earned the following spots for the Lasers, recording final times of 26:34, 26:36, and 26:41 respectively. Tisza Ambrose-Greene finished next for Lasell with a time of 29:32, while Emily Kochanek followed at 31:28. Kochanek enhanced her performance from last year's GNAC event, cutting her final time by 2:15.
The Lasers will compete in the Eastern College Athletic Conference on Saturday, November 8th.
