WVB: Lasers Downed by Pride

Weston, MA - The Lasell Lasers women's volleyball team fell to the Regis Pride on Wednesday in four sets, losing 12-25, 25-22, 18-25, 20-25. It is the Lasers third consecutive GNAC loss, and puts them at 19-4 on the season and 8-3 in GNAC play. The Pride are now 19-7 and 10-1.

The Lasers were playing without their starting Libero, Maddie Caro on Wednesday, and it showed as they came out to a slow start, dropping the first set 25-12. After bouncing back in the second set and tying things up with a 25-22 set win, the Lasers would drop the next two sets to lose the match 3-1.

Six different Lasers recorded at least four kills, led by Kyra Paris' nine. Behind her were Jualian Medini and Morgan Bogli each with eight, and Camila Lopez and Madalyn Scully each with four. Emily VanHouten also had six. Sydney Katz had 21 set assists while SaigeCambonga-Meyers had 14. Defensively, three Lasers had double-digit digs in Camila Lopez (15), Autumn Walker (10), and VanHouten (10).
